Glad that surgery is behind you. My surgery was the very end of January 2012. Three months later my leg was still not completely healed. I recall going to chemo/rads on somedays with a walker in April (we all know the toll that chemo/rads take so that could have been the bigger part of weakness and need for walker). Once healed, my leg did not cause me any changes in lifestyle. A marathon July 4th might be a little aggressive. Just listen to your body. Best wishes for a speedy return to normal activities.
