    chat is working, but you have to configure some java security settings for it to work.

     

    There is a thread in the the Technical problems with CSN where I have posted a fix.

    LOL...

    There's always been a chat button.....but to my knowledge it has never worked (at least as long as I've been here).  Look to the top right box, Jeff...where it says CSN...it's above CSN Email.

    And the directions to fix your java, if you have problems getting in, are in the Technical Problems with CSN Website? discussion group.  That is the first discussion group after all the cancer specific groups.

    That has been my picture on here since 1999 and it will never change.  I'm defiant that way.  There was actually some controversy about it when at one point it was in the rotation banner and there were some from the Breast Cancer Discussion Board that were upset with it.

     

    Here is the thread Has anyone else noticed the picture on the Home Page?

    I personally found that entire thread humorous.

    Hey Sara,

    Years ago I used to periodically click into the Chat Room on my computer without a problem, but hadn't tried to go there for a long time.  I have just been using my I Pad to tune into the CSN, and thouht that not being able to get into the Chat Room was because my I Pad was missing a link to get me there.  It is a good spot to connect with members from all of the different boards.  I do believe that I will see if I can follow the instructions that were given and get re-connected.  Thanks for bring the subject up.
