I am still here
I just celebrated two years without David and my second anniversary would have been on Monday. Each day without him is getting a bit easier. For those who haven't heard I moved to Lexington, KY. Wells Fargo did indeed foreclose on David's home; however, God provided for me. My new home is smaller, but it is perfect for me. I went back to work on March 10 and that really helped me deal with the difficult days that followed. I have started dancing again. I still don't laugh like I used to, but it is coming along. It is a process. I just wanted to drop in and see how many of my friends/supporters are still here. I also wanted to say thank you for all you did for me and all you do for others to help them during such a difficult time,
Vivian

Nice to see you here....
Vivian,
Nice to see you here. Glad things are moving in a positive way for you. They always say that time is a healer, even if it seems impossible.
Glad to hear you are doing something for yourself...dancing! And a small house doesn't sound all that bad as cleaning a bigger one is no fun.
Certainly missed you on here, but we know that life had to move on for you and the memories here probably aren't that pleasant.

wonderful
I don't post as much as I use to Vivian, but, I still check the board almost weekly, to make sure everyone's okay. So many new names, cancer is a horrible disease
It's so wonderful that you're dancing again, I'm sure the laughter will come in time. Your new home and new job is a Godsent, takes you to new places and new people.
Take care

Doesn't seem like that long
Doesn't seem like that long since you lost David. I think about you a lot when I check the site. I lost Jim on Good Friday this year so it is good to hear the pain eases a little with time. I pray things keep moving in a positive way for you.

Thanks for stopping in to say things are getting better. Your post is timely for me as I lost one of my younger sisters to a brain anuerysm on Easter Sunday. It was very sudden and devastating and I have just been putting one foot in front of the other to make it through each day. I am so heartbroken.
I continue to think of you and wish you happiness as you find new direction in your life with David watching over you.
God Bless,
Candi

Vivian, it is so wonderful to
Vivian, it is so wonderful to hear from you. I cannot beleive it has been two years. I would have thought it had been one but no more. I'm so happy that you are dancing again and moving forward with life. Laughing will continue to happy and you won't even realize it. Just don't ever give up. Continue growing and being apart of life. You are an awful strong person and I hope you see that. I hope you will stop by more often to give us an update on you living life. We love to hear good things on here.
Candi, I'm so very sorry to hear about your sister. I had heard that she passed suddenly but didn't know how. I lost my sister to the same thing when she was 36. She was fine one minute and gone the very next. If you ever want to talk, pm anytime. again, I'm truly sorry and I'm praying for you and your family.
God bless you Vivian and Candi.

Vivian,
It is nice to hear from you and that you are doing well.
Wish you the best.

I am such a lucky woman to have met all of you wonderful people. You held me up with words and prayer when I was at my very weakest. You said things to inspire and keep me going, when really I just wanted to crawl into bed and forget the world. Even when David started battling Plasma Cell Leukemia, my head and neck friends were our biggest supporters. It was nice to know I was covered with so much love and support. Every day is a new day for me. I am now ready to find love and laughter again. It has been over a year since David passed, which is the longest I have ever lived alone. All things considered I did it well, but I sure do miss him sometimes. I also miss you my friends and wonder how everyone is doing. How do you guys do it. Fighting your own battles and still supporting others? Bravo I love you guys.

Always glad to see you again and glad to know you are doing well. It sucks to see Wells Fargo did foreclose on where you lived but I am glad your faith in God has pulled you through this and blessed you to find another place to stay. Keep doing whatever makes you happy and brings a smile to your face and thanks again for coming back to see us.
God Bless and keep you in His tender care

Thank you for who you are. I'm so glad to hear life is being a bit gentler. I think of you often and wonder, but by the grace of God there walk I. You are a wonder young lady. May only good things come your way. Hugs sent ! Katie

So good to hear from you
Vivian:
So glad to hear from you! Sorry about David's home but glad you have found a new home and hope you're enjoying being in Lexington. I cannot believe it's been two years since David passed away. It will be 4 this August since Charlie passed away. I am now an official georgia retired teacher and now receiving Charlie's SS widow's benefits so that's been a great relief! Just doing substitute teaching now. Please continue to check in and let us know how you're doing. God Bless!
