Stool Size = Tumor vs No Tumor?

I'm down to my last week of treatment. Chemo and radiation for just 1 more week!! Yippeee! But, I have a question. When did you notice your stool size started going back to normal? Mine are still very small, which I'm thankful for at this point, as they are still quite painful to pass. I suppose I'm looking at it as a sign that my tumor is reducing in size. I still have a fair amount of dirrhea, but with Lomotil and Immodium do have an occasional "normal" bowel movement in consistency, but not size.

Thanks!!!

Vicki

    Normal BM

It's funny, after I posted that comment I had a normal size and shaped BM. Perhaps no correlation at all with tumor being gone, but it was good to see.

    I am 8 years out T3,M0,N0 and

I am 8 years out T3,M0,N0 and my stools have never been the same.  They are narrow and in clusters not neatly formed for an hour when I first wake up.  Then I am fine and I never have any issues.  How wierd is that?  lol

We all get out new normal and it is different for everyone. :)

    I hope you find peace.

    Still not "normal"

I am 1 year, 2 months post treatment and still have not returned to "normal."  Like Gabby, I have small, clusters upon waking.  Usu. 4-6 times within a 2-3 hrs. of waking.  I also have urgency issues, there's no waiting or there's a mess.  Frown  My doctors are not concerned.

I think you'll find, like so many of us, that there are going to be times when there seems to be no normal in this regard.  I can go from marbles to diarrhea in 0 to 60!  I think many things play into this--diet, fluid intake, etc.  I've just accepted the fact that my bowels now have a mind of their own!
