Sounds good Jeremy.
Many people here say that surgery in a way is lot easier than chemo. I personally would take surgery any time over chemo.
Dont forget to start taking 400mg Cimetidin twice a day a week before and 2 weeks after surgery. It seems to prevent the cancer spreading during surgery.
Good luck and everything will be ok.

Ps. It's kind of personal, but can they spare the sphyncter in your case? It was not possible for me, but I'm allright.

Good luck, Jeremy. I agree with others that the chemo experience is worse than surgery. Know that we are all rooting for you. I am a believer in taking cimetidine beforehand, too.
Hang In! Think positive.

I agree
If you are going into surgery healthy (except the Cancer), then you'll bounce right back up and feel the better for it.
June 18th will be here and gone, before you know it, and you'll be on the road to recovery.
Keep us posted, and we'll be with you all the way.
