Its perfectly normal to be
Its perfectly normal to be nervous. Especially your first time but you will get through it. I have been doing chemo on and off for over eight years. I wouldnt say I still get nervous but get a little anxiety before each treatment.

Very normal
You have a right to be nervous, but you can do this. Nobody wants to but many of us have been there and come out on the other side. Not gonna lie to you, chemo gets old, but if you keep a good attitude and look for the good and not the bad, you'll find it. Hang in there.

Treatment
Hoping that all goes well with your treatment. Remember if something doesn't feel right, tell your doctor.

just got home after 5 hours not bad nothing what i expected, ate while i was there drove home. now have thatpump for 46 hrs
Chemo really does go well on the day, its the days after when the side effects kick in. But you know, you may have very few side effects, and that will be my hope for you.
The hook up can be a bore. I hope you figure out how to sleep with it stragiht off, then it won't be such a bother. I used two body pillows to keep myself sleeping on my back. I put my fanny pack on the bedside table, and had no problems at all.
