    It seems so wrong that this is an issue for you on the day of your surgery.  I hope it all works out.

    UPDATE April 25th

    Here I am post op. Yes, after all the fighting with BCBS insurance, my surgery got cleared. 

    All went well. The tumour was larger than what showed on the PET. Did it grow so quickly? 

    Doc was able to remove my appendix too. 

    So, I'm home and feeling rather sore and delicate. I will get another CT scan in four weeks, to see if the cancer is gone. 

    Thank you all, for your prayer and kind words. They kept my spirits up for sure.

    Pain Blockers

    I was still coming around in that picture, so couldn't feel the pain. Today is a different matter. I hurt pretty bad.

    No need for pain

    Unless it is your personal preference to not take pain meds, tell the nurse to contact the doctor for something to help you with the pain.  You will not lose needed healing energy with those pain grimaces..and you will rest better.

    Prayers and hopes that you heal quickly and all is well on the next scan.

    I hope the pain is under control.  So glad you doc was able to settle it with the insurance company.  I'm with you, how dare they try to tell the doc what you need.  Prayers for a speedy recovering and good scan in a few weeks.
