It hasn't been asked in quite a while so . . . Any plans for this weekend?
Tomorrow I am going to a "Sexy Karaoke Birthday Party" at an Irish bar. The birthday boy is named Jim and he's a big fan of Stewie from Family Guy so he's having a Stewie Sexy Party. I've never sung Karaoke at a bar so I'm super excited. Some of the people coming are heavy hitter drinkers so it should be entertaining when they sing. On Sunday we'll be having linner (lunch and dinner around 3) at my Uncle Owen's for Easter. The kids do the usual egg hunt and this year is especially nice because my grandson just turned 21 months and is talking and walking and will be able to participate.

That is right? I wander how
That is right? I wander how Pepe is doing? My friends and I are celebrating Peaster (Passover and Easter). I am going to church and they Temple and on Sunday going to dinner together where we will talk about religion and peace!
May this season bring everyone peace and spiritual renewal no matter what religion you are or are not!

Happy Easter - PEaster!
Hubby is working tomorrow, so I'll be cleaning and getting the house ready for my absense. Sunday, hubby took off work as we have to go stay in Medium City to prep for my Flexi Sig on Monday (didn't want two hours in a car after hitting myself up with 2 enemas).
Today though, is Good Friday, and I made my traditional Hot Cross Buns. And my friend from the Big City popped by with an Orchid, so I took a picture.

Monday is Moving Day!
We were supposed to move today, but my MIL died earlier this week (at almost 99), so we had to go out of town. On Monday, we move to a beautiful new house on a lake - kayaking in my own yard! Can't wait! However, still lots of packing to do this weekend.

They look wonderful. Since it is Good Friday I've been fasting and anything looks good now. Seems you did a great job.

Don't hide this in a post. You should put this in separate post. This is awesome news except about the MIL. Good luck on your move.

I think you should make this a new tradition, Helen!
We have both Easter and my husband's birthday tomorrow, so a busy weekend.
I'm cooking dinner tonight for Bob*, and my oldest is in charge of the cake (so exciting to have a kid who can take over some of the work!). We got him some new golf gear, so he should be pleased (it's implied, I guess, that he can dump me to go golfing with that kind of gift).
Sunday will be all about the bunny, as we are basically pagans. Indoor and outdoor egg hunts, and maybe a walk through the local Japanese Garden if weather permits.
*turning 51. Can't believe I'm married to such an old geezer. I can get away with making fun of him because, at 48, I'm still on the right side of 50.

sounds like she had a good, long life, but it's always sad to say goodbye.
And congrats on your move. Living on a lake soundsd wonderful!

No plans for me for the weekend.
JBG slowly recuperating, but managing okay.
