Taxol Failed ...
After 13 1/2 months of Taxol, it failed. I had a couple of blood clots from the lungs on Sunday night. I called my oncologist's nurse, yesterday and they order a ct scan that had stronger dye. Though they could not find anything in the pulmonary arteries, they did find progression in the right hilar mass and the right suprahilar mass.
The oncologist wasn't there today, so I will be meeting with him next Wednesday to see what is next.

Hi
Hi Doris,
I am so sorry the Taxol has failed, but like you said, "what's next". I hope the doctor comes up with another alternative that works as well as the Taxol did. Please let us know what he says next week. You will be in my thoughts and prayers Doris.
Hugs,
Ginny

Hi Doris-
So sorry to hear about the taxol, but I'm sure he has a Plan B and lots more tricks up his sleeve. Good luck on Wednesday. I'll be standing by to hear from you on what next.

So sorry to hear this, Doris! Your attitude is truly remarkable though. What's next? I think what is next is you continuing to beat the odds and persevere.
Good vibes coming your way.

Maybe in another year or so, it might make the cancer cells forget they knew how to deactivate the blockers.
