Hello!

in Head and Neck Cancer #1

Hi my Warrior Family, I am asking for prayers. I don't know what is going on, as I had a stomach flu last week and lost the 8 lbs I proudly and worked so hard to gain. I went to the ER on Saturday for IV fluids as I was so dehydrated, but still feel off. I live alone, so this is a concern. I have no one in my area for support, and will be checking back in with the Doctor today. I have been hydrating, and eating as much as possible. My faith has gotten me thru, and will again, but your prayers and support mean the world to me. I thank you in advance, and as always you have my love & prayers.

    pattyanny, i'm sorry you're not feeling well.  i'm saying prayers for God to comfort you and make you better with His healing and loving hands.  you should check with your cancer society as they have advocates who can help you and be with you as you go thru this so you don't have to be alone.  please let us know how you do.

    Pattyanny,

    Having stomach flu and getting dehydrated can be debilitating and a sock to the H&N mindset.  Each of us can be victims to any hint of disturbance.

    I hope you feel better, gain some weight and know you have a satellite of friends praying for you here.

    Hi Patty

    Just about 4 to 5 years out of my second treatment I too started having some weird problems. Every time I went to a doctor all they would say if radiation side effects. Keeping you in prayer

    Just lying around is driving me crazy! I appreciate your prayers, keep them coming!  Laughing  Hondo - wondering about my blood pressure, as it seems to be up & down. <sigh> I don't trust myself to drive today.                 What a great bunch you guys are! Thank you, and I will keep you posted, as soon as someone can figure out what is going on!

    Thank you all! I went back to the MD, after dragging myself out of bed. What a sight I am! LOL! I will be seeing a heart specialist, and my ENT, which I needed to anyway, for my scope, and to check my inner ear. They will give me another audio test ( I needed hearing aids last year!) and check why I am dizzy, and getting headaches. It seems it will be my month of "dates with doctors".  Sealed  Once again, I am a medical mystery! Wishing you all a wonderful Holiday, and I will be wearing my Easter bonnet no matter what!

    Hi Patty

     

    I was thinking about some of my old CSN buddies from a few years ago.  You were on that list.  I'm sorry you're going through some new medical stuff, many of us are, but I'm confident you'll get some new meds and be on your way to good health very soon.

    In the meantime, I'll send a prayer your way.   Keep up the fight girl!

    Hi Steve!

    Good do see you! I am sure this is just another "bump" in the road, but it sure helps to come here for support. Hoping you are doing well, and would love to have an update from you. Thanks for the prayer, they always work! Take care of yourself & we will both keep fighting!
