Glad to hear your appt with cardio doc went well.  No more hbp meds...that's fantastic!  I noticed your cardio doc is a woman.  Do you seek women doctors out?  Just curious if being female is a criteria one must meet before putting their hands on you.   hehehehe

Anyway, let us know as soon as you know.  Until then, I send you good juju.

On a good note. Mom had her scans last week and we were pretty worried because she isn't feeling too good. Her scans were good. The one node she has is stable. And this time they even noted that it might be benign. Does that then make her NED? Who knows...  We see her onc on Thrusday so will ask.  All this and she is still on 200 mgs of Votrient. So all of those who want to know if the low dose does indeed work? Yes it does.  

 

DJinnie.. a note to you... if 400 mgs still gives you bad side affects, let them know my mom has been on 200 mgs for 16 months and it is still giving good results and the side affects are tolerable....

 

Ron, I was going to send you some pretty nurses but our on top of it and caring gal, Alex, beat me to it!

Sindy.. you are one cute and funny lady..!  My Pulmonary Doc is a male, and he is the one that referred my to my female Cardio Doc..   My Onc is another woman, but she is one of the best...  She is my Doc because of her skills...  And the nurses, well, I take what I can get..!  Most are women and they all are cute to me..! (to me caring is also cute..).   So, I guess I just continue to get lucky and get some awesome medical staff, most of which are women..!  Now as far as any of them getting their hands on me.. well... wishful thinking..!

I love that you think caring is a cuteness.  So often it seems, if you aren't a blonde bombshell or built like a brick house, you're not given the time of day, so, it's a breath of fresh air to hear a man say "caring is cute".  Just made my day!
