The word is out
It should continue to be a good year for me. Latest blood work is excellent. Brain scan showed nothing but rocks in my head. (but don't ever take it for granite.) Chest, ab, and pelvis show a couple small stable nodes. Everything else is sclerotic and unchanged. I'm a happy boy. I have come a long way and am so grateful to my doctor and Yale-New Haven. I still get zometa every 6 weeks but except for my Il-2 treatments, in july and october, I have not had any other treatments or drugs since last June. Lets hear it for immunotherapy! We are going to stay the course. Rescan in 12 weeks. Life is GOOD!! Pizza and beer anyone?

Bottoms up
Oh Happy Day!! What wonderful news, fox!
There aren't enough words to sum up what an inspiration you are to me. Your positive outlook (coupled with your humor) has had a positive effect on me and I thank you for that. I couldn't be happier for your good news!
I think pizza and beer are what's for supper. I'll raise my bottle to you and Djinnie and Jojo, for all of you have recent good reports to celebrate.
Cheers!

On a related note, how long after your surgery before you had a glass of wine or a bottle beer? I'm nearly a month out but still afraid to indulge. And I'd love to toast Fox with a glass of wine tonight

APny,
Unless you have a drinking problem or other issues this would be a good time for that first post surgical drink. Remeber a (singular) drink.

Coincidentally, I askedAPny,
Coincidentally, I asked my surgeon that when I was getting my staples out on Saint Patrick's Day. I was at that point in time 11 days post surgery, and my surgeon said to go ahead and have a couple beers.

I've done nothing that can't be done by all. If anything, it is the return Karma for having been good to so many people for a long time. And there is PLENTY of Karma to share.
