I'm sorry your heading into chemo. What cocktail will they have you on?
The port is a real blessing, and once you get past being sore, you'll be really thankful.
Keep us posted.
Blessings!

The 5FU comes in a bag you take home. I do believe the Oxaliplatin & Leucovorin is an infusion you get at the Oncologist Chemo room, and takes around four hours. Well, mine did.
I would travel 300 miles to get my FOLFOX cocktail, then come home with the bag. An independent company would hook me up with the 5FU and another independed company would come to my home to unhook me. I have money going out in all directions.
When do you start?
