not the end...
dear all,
my dad passed away on 4th april early morning.
i am not sad for him as i belive he left his sick body behind ,is now free of agony and in a happy place.......i am sad for myself , my mom , sister and gradma who have to get used to living in his in his absence.
i am greatful for the chance we had to tell him how much we admired him , loved him and hear from him that he wasnt scared , his faith still intact
this group has been a constant source of information and strength.....
to all who left us - have a good rest
to all who are fighting - soldier on , you are our heros
i will still be lurking around , helping out where needed.
regards
A

I am so sorry you lost your dad.
Losing a parent, a person who holds a unique and irreplaceable spot in our lives, is a terrible experience. But I'm glad that you were able to have time with your dad, and have a chance to say what you wanted to say. That is a gift that not all receive.
May the passage of time bring with it a little peace, and the blessing of memory.

Sorry for your loss.
Your dad and and your family did everything to fight this disease and left nothing on the table. Life will be different without him. To honor him you live your life the best you can. Not in sorrow but always with positive and progressive attitude. That is what he wants you to do...

I'm so sorry...
It's not easy losing a parent, no matter what age we are. It's wonderful that you were all able to tell him how you felt about him. I truly wish I had that chance with my mom.
I hope you'll stick around and let us know how you're doing.
