Scan this week...
Hi Guys,
I just thought I would let everyone know that Dennis has a scan this Thursday. I don't have to tell you how anxious I am wondering what kind of news we will get. Dennis had Sirispere a few weeks ago so the scan is to see how effective it was or wasn't.
I have to be honest and say that I am mentally and physically tired, I've actually been worried that I am falling in to a depression that I can't seem to help myself out of. I am recovering from pneumonia myself and am realizing I am battling more than the infection in my lungs. I am asking for your prayers for Dennis' scan results and my mental strength to handle what ever comes our way.
I am so sorry for everyone that is battling this cancer and those have lost their loved ones. I'm just sad tonight, maybe tomorrow will be better.
GOD's blessings to you all.
Brenda

Stay strong
I'm very sorry for what you are going through. I hope the scan goes well. I must stress to you to take care of yourself. It is for the benefit of both of you guys. See your doctor regarding your feelings of depression. Maybe, he/she can give you something for it. Sometimes we need a little help. My prayers are with you.

I reallyThanks Everyone,
I really appreciate your prayers and support. I absolutley understand that I need to take care of myself also (I've reminded people of that very thing) but I guess it's easier said than done. I was letting the fear get the most of me when I posted this, I certainly have my weak moments.
GOD's blessings

Sending love and strength your way,
and hopes for great test results.
I've often said that I think the caregivers may have it even harder than us patients...it's so grueling mentally and physically. I know how hard it is to manage everyone's needs, but do try to get some rest and time for yourself. You've been at this for a pretty long time. It's only natural to feel done in.
Hugs to you both~AA
