    Don't blame me

It is not my fault that the first day of spring has failed to show her face,. Nor is my cousin the weatherman to blame.

For those of you new to this board my name Icemantoo has nothing to do with the weather or the Cyro procedure I developed for eliminating small tumors.

Both my father and grandfather were in the retail ice business begining in about 1920. Hence I am an Iceman too.

Here's hoping for an early summer and the best of heath and recovery to all.

    AHHHHH SPRING...

We've still got close to a foot of snow on the ground, a foot and a half of ice on the lakes, motorcycles in storage, and golf courses in hibernation, but hope springs eternal that soon all will change and soon they will find a cure...NOTHING WOULD MAKE US HAPPIER!!!

    Difficult task, but someone

Difficult task, but someone had to do it...  It has been in the mid to high 70's here with bright sun the last 4 to 5 days... and today is looking good as well.  So, I got my little racer "whole" again.. and fired it up and rode it around the neighborhood... gosh that felt great..!!  Did not see any cops looking for me this time..  Now to get my street bike back together so I can head down the coast... the coast road south of me is always a breath taking view... regardless of speed...  Dang, life sure can be good..!  (we all know about the bad.. no reason to go there..).

So, hope all of you are doing well... spring is here..! (imagine me doing the "happy dance"..) Cool

    Weather report, Southern Oregon Coast

My office door is open (to the outside world about 10' away) with a sunny day and a mild breeze blowing from the east-toward the ocean.  Low this morning when I went to my car-36 degrees but climbed to 76 rapidly.  Our daffodils are starting to die back, but the apple trees are popping blossoms. My husband has used his new tractor to get his garden ready and put peas in.  I hope he covered them with mesh because the birds and squirrels like them, too.  By the way, Gary, what is snow?

My birthday is this weekend, spring break starts, and we'll have grandkids around next week.

Who could ask for anything more?  Aren't those the words to a song us old-timers might remember.

    Happy Girls and Happy Boys.

    I really needed a happiness

I really needed a happiness day so today is as good as any. It's nice and sunny here in NY but very windy and still chilly. I envy you, Donna, sounds lovely by you.

    Well...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! A winter laugh just for you...

As a trucker stops for a red light, a blonde (probably an OSU grad) catches up.

She jumps out of her car, runs up to his truck, and knocks on the door. The trucker lowers the window, and she says "Hi, my name is Heather and you are losing some of your load." The trucker ignores her and proceeds down the street.

When the truck stops for another red light, the girl catches up again. She jumps out of her car, runs up and knocks on the door. Again, the trucker lowers the window. As if they've never spoken, the blonde says brightly, "Hi my name is Heather, and you are losing some of your load!" Shaking his head, the trucker ignores her again and continues down the street.

At the third red light, the same thing happens again. All out of breath, the blonde gets out of her car, runs up, knocks on the truck door. The trucker lowers the window. Again she says "Hi, my name is Heather, and you are losing some of your load!"

When the light turns green the trucker revs up and races to the next light. When he stops this time, he hurriedly gets out of the truck, and runs back to the blonde. He knocks on her window, and as she lowers it, he says...

"Hi, my name is Kevin, it's winter in Michigan and I'm driving the SALT TRUCK!"

    Okay...one more Michigan laugh...

A fellow died one day and found himself waiting in the long line of judgment. As he stood there he noticed that some souls were allowed to march right through the pearly gates into Heaven. Others though, were led over to Satan who threw them into the burning abyss.

Every so often, instead of hurling a poor soul into the fire, Satan would toss them off to one side into a small pile. After watching Satan do this several times, the fellow's curiosity got the best of him.

He strolled over to see what was going on.

"Excuse me, Prince of Darkness," he said. "I'm waiting in line for Judgment, but I couldn't help wondering. Why are you tossing those people aside instead of flinging them into the Fires of Hell with the others?"

    "Oh those . . . ," Satan groaned. "They're all from Michigan."

    "I'm sorry, I don't understand."

"They're still too cold and wet to burn."
