Long day
but GOOD NEWS!!! Mr. NED is hanging around. Of course I had been worrying because of headaches in the last month. I thought I was going to need Phrannie and her horses to come and tie a harness on me to get me down from the ceiling fan. Nothing could be seen by the doctors on the MRI, should get the written report in a few days. Doctors think that headache is from muscle atrophy (!) I know the rest of my body is suffering from atrophy but half of my face also. Guess I'll need to find an aerobics class for faces!

WEE HAW!!
I sure know how it feels being stuck to the ceiling fan by my fingernails.....LOL. Gawd, Bev.....I'm so happy for you....what a blessing. I wonder....now that you've had the scan if the headaches might go away....if not, well....there must be some face exercises to build muscle.
Hugs to you!!

Why don't you try some simple restoritive yoga. It has been a great stress reliever for me as well as a good muscle relaxer especially for the neck and face. You might try, "The gift of yoga" readily available sometimes for under $4. I also have good success with a tennis ball on both sides of the neck. I rest my head on a foam roller and then insert the tennis ball between my neck and roller. if you use your hand to roll the foam roller it will move the tennis ball around your neck. Work it into those awful knots. It falls out now and then but just slip it back in and go on.

KT - I spent most of Monday the 17th waiting around to get in to see Dr. Kaplan at Stanford. We arrived early for our 2:00 appointment, and finally got to see him at 6:00 PM. Were you the one taking up his time?
Deb
I was there Tuesday. Missed by a day. I see Dr. Loo and Dr. Chang neuro and cyper guys. I will be making an appointment with Dr. Divi, he wants to do a little nip tuck and I am ready for it. Then I will be able to look for a prosthetic that will attach to my glasses.

Hi Teacher
Glad to hear you got a NED on your report card again. On the headaches it might be due to the radiation side effects, as with me I was told the bones in my face are full of osteoporosis from the treatment.
Just keep living and keep praying God will take care of all the rest
