Not cancer related....
but this was SO exciting for me. A friend bought a team of Belgians, and invited Greg and I to ride along on a wagon ride....he even let me drive them!! My respect for the Budweiser drivers has been upped about 10 notches.....this was only two horses, I can't imagine what it must be like to control 6, 8 or 10 at one time.
This horse is 19 hands tall....that is 6'4" at the shoulder....meaning by the time he puts his head up, we're talking 8 feet or so.....the top of his legs are even with my armpits.....his "teammate" is 6'2" at the shoulder.

They are beautiful animals !
P,
The leg is as big as you ! I love this breed. And you are right, it takes a special kind of person to work with these animals. I was that close one time in my life and it scared the bee-jeebers out of me. I was in someones field looking at an old truck to buy, and the earth shook under my feet. The guy called his babies (as he called them) to him. Oh my....I almost fainted ! It would be great fun to ride behind a team. I'm so glad you were able to do this ! What fun ! Hugs sent ! Katie

Nice....
Great seeing you, and I love the big horses...
We have a few white percheron horses that we see almost everyday on our way home..., beautiful. They have a wedding place at a local farm that they use these horses for..., easy life.
I always like going to see the Clydesdales also when visiting Busche Gardens Tampa, I think SeaWorld Orlando has them now also...

Beautiful animal
Riding one of those must have been a blast.
There would be no time to think about cancer when in charge of driving that team.

Hi P
Wow they are some beautiful creatures, to sit on one of them must feel like you are sitting on a Mountain or in a Mac truck loaded with pure horse power. My Boss wife was into teaching some type of horse riding I can’t remember the name of it. But it had a lot to do showing having control of the horse.
God Bless

Oh...P.....
Thanks for sharing this....I LOVE horses! I haven't owned one since I was a little girl. It is my dream to have one or two after I get my two boys out of college....can't afford to feed them and the horses too! LOL
I hope you enjoyed your wagon ride!
