good CT scan
As a pretty old timer here now, I am sorry I do not post as much as I should. Dx 2006 and now 2.5 years clear after 4 thoracic surgeries, liver surgery, colon surgery, 10 months of folfox, and a couple pulmonary embolisms... many of you are going through worse and I understand the loss, unfairness and pain. It was important to me to see some success and for whatever reason, things are going well right now. CT scan at Stanford showed NED and CEA under 1. This has now been 2.5 years since the 4th lobectomy in Nov 2011, I wish I had a receipe for all, I know I didn't eat as well as others, pray as hard, exercise as much or deserve the succes. Here are the things that may haved helped or at least didn't hurt only for me:
1. Fight for surgery when you can get it.
2. Take 1 aspirin a day
3. Get rid of refined sugar
4. Surround yourself with as much positive as you can
5. Really hate cancer
6. Eat well, drink lots of tea, eat sushi a lot
7. Keep working and being interested in some things ( surfing, skiing, technology)
All my best to the heros each of you are every day.
Chip
