Spot on my nipple
I just got out of the tub and was drying off when I noticed a spot on my nipple. It looks like a small pimple. I tried to pop it but it wouldn't pop. It is a little redder than the rest of my nipple but doesn't bother me or anything. No oozing and I am not breast feeding (I'm 48). It is on the good breast. They took my nipple from the diseased breast when the did my mastectomy. I have been on Tamoxifen for 4 years. Any ideas or suggestions?

It could be a Montgomery
It could be a Montgomery gland or sebaceous gland hyperplasia (not everything is cancer), but, if you have never noticed it before and you have a history, let your breast surgeon look at it. Better to be safe than sorry. You know you have to have it checked!!!!

Not to scare anyone -- however, both my nipples had those pimple looking bumps on them for years - prior to diagnosis of breast cancer - my doctors checked them out yearly.
I am embarrassed to admit this - but, I too squeezed them on occassion. Gross, I know - but thought for so long my bumps were pimples that never seem to 'rippen'.
I would get a professional opinion on those nasty bumps -- good luck, and best wishes.
