NPC second round

in Head and Neck Cancer #1

My MRI shows that NPC is back after 2 years from treatment. I have an appoint for PET on next Tuesday.

Any suggestions, comments and thought for the recurrence.

    Was there anything that you can think of that may have contribute to the recurrence?

    Biopsy

    Neo,

    Have they did a biopsy as of yet....? Hopefully it's not a recurrence, but I would think that a biopsy is the only certainity...

    hi, neo.  just wanted to say i will be praying for you.  the others may be right, it may take a biopsy to confirm cancer.  be sure to look at your options before you act.  God bless.

    Not sure

    but it might be from the first treatment didn't fully remove or destory. I need to do PET scan to confirm and biopsy as suggested.

    Got an e-mail from Neo and the PET showed positive for a recurring NPC,
