Finishing chemo today!
I was diagnosed with a large Stage 2 rectal cancer on May 23rd. Went through radiation, chemo and surgery in October. Today I'm finishing chemo and this treatment left me with a colostomy and neuropathy in my hands and feet. I'm still very grateful, because without this treatment I would be dying or dead by now.
Ill have a CT on the 24th and if that is clear ill be considered NED since there is no indication of lymph node involvement or metastases.
It has been tough, but with the help of family and friends like you, I did well.
Thank You!
Laz

Good news
I've been following your journey Laz. Its been a trial I know, but its so good to hear that you have completed treatment.
I remember how long those months of chemo, rad & chemo were. Oh, how they dragged on and on. Now I look back and its been seven months since it all finished. SEVEN months! Its flying by and feels so good.
I Know you have your handy bag for life, it seems we are all left with some mark. I hope the next weeks and months roll by and you contunue to be NED.
Good luck on your CT scan. Mine is next month.
