Checking In, Clear Scans
Hi Everyone
Haven't been on in a while, just thought I would check in and say hello.
I live near Liverpool in the UK and had mucoepidermoid carcinoma back in 2011, my doctor said it was a strange presentation with a neck lump that was mostly fluid with a few cancer cells, but no primary has ever been found, low grade. Anyway I had my 6 monthly scan of my parotid and neck last week and it was NED, so heading towards 3 years in the clear in September. Good luck to everyone in their journeys along their own roads, this place was a wonderful resource to me at my biggest time of need back in early 2012 so you have all found the right place.
Lots of love to everyone who helped me through it back then if they are around, hope you are all doing well (Tommyodavey, ditto, skiffin and others). I know it always made me feel better when I saw people getting good results and posting them up, so thought I would post to say that is the case for me. My little girl has just started school, and this is one of the things that I wanted to see so much after my initial diagnosis - optimistic now for many of the others to come in the future!
All the best to each and every one of you
