Many thanks to all of you for your concern and support for my daugther who underwent a cervical cone biopsy.  ALL BENIGN!  In fact, she currently has NO cervical displaysia at all!  This surgery was done by my gynecologic/oncologist who did both of my OVCA surgeries, and I know he is extraordinarly thorough.  As you can imagine, we are all elated.

As for me, I started my radiation last week for Stage 1 Invasive Lobular Breast Cancer.  I'm doing well, just feelng a little 'sensitivity' on the skin.  Will see the doctor each Monday to discuss how things are going.

Luv & (((HUGS))) to All of You!

Monika

We sure love our children, don't we?

I would never want what's happening to me to happen to them either.

Good luck with your radiation...hope it will be easy.

Will you need to take any anti-hormonals or Herceptin? I'm doing both (just finished my 17th Herceptin infusion and have 4  more years on arimidex for stage 1 IDC)...both easy.

    All the best,

    Susan

Great news for you and your daughter!

What a relief for you both and a big load off your mind as you prepare for radiation treatment.  I hope and expect that the radiation will kick your cancer's butt to the curb!

    Wonderful

glad your daughter is cancer free. I had radiation this summer..every day for six weeks. It was easier then I thought...have three tats.one on each hip and one on lower pelvic area where tumor was. I asked my Dr. if I could just be radiated and no chemo..she said sorry you need chemo too. Stay strong..val

    THANK YOU ALL!

Your encouragement and support means so much!

So far, so good on treatments - 13 down, 25 to go!  Just a little skin sensitivity.  Dosage will be upped on the last four treatments.

    Thank you, dear Friends!
