Tpat path report said the margins were clear but close. They want me to talk to radiation oncology. Most of my pain is gone now that they removed a huge long tube from my mouth. I can start swallowing liquids. Feels weird without OEM.

The path report said margins where clear but close. They want me to talk to radiation next. That scares me. Barely handled it the first time.

On the bright side, they took a long tube out oF my mouth and  about all mypaying is gone noW.

Lornal, thanking God for your clear margins.  sorry to hear you need rads again.  we all remember what a hellish road that was.  i'll be praying for a smooth trip down that road again.  happy for you getting the tube out, those are always a bother.  let us know how you do thru tx, we will be praying for the best for you.

    God bless you,

    Good for you

Please keep an open mind on second rads.  Listen carefully, ask questions, and make your best decision.  A plus for you is the tissue transfer.  This, at least, is tissue in the new radiation field that is pristine.  It has never been irradiated, and will handle a dose quite well.  Glad your pain is better.
