Dawne has been in the hospital 2 time since New Years Eve. She came home on Friday. The Dr has told her there is nothing more to do. She is swollen, her heart is weak and in congestive heart failure. Her kidneys are not functioning well. Hospice is coming in. I saw her yesterday, she is very weak and tired but she is still her sweet self. She is a lady of great faith and is an inspiration to many. Her husband still continues to be her rock, her Mom is right there for her and her daughter has been with them for the past 3 months or so. She loves her grandkids being close. Her sons come to visit often too. Please keep them all in your prayers and thoughts. God Bless

    Praying for Dawne

    Dawne has a wonderful support system, husband, daughter, son, mother and very good friends.

    I do hope that Hospice will give her the comfort she needs and certainly earned.

    I am praying for her.

    I am so sad to hear about Dawne's decline. She seemed like such a sweet, gentle, happy soul.

    I hope they can figure out how to make her as comfortable as possible now.

    Our Texasgirl - a real sweetheart, indeed. Am so very saddened by this update... She's fought hard, and long.

    for being such a great Friend to Dawne - I am sure you have brought light, love and compassion to Dawne's life... and you would never trade this life experience, and freindship for anything in our World.

    Prayers, and positive thoughts for Dawne and her family - I pray Dawne is comfortable, and not in pain.  Surrounded by loved ones, and the knowledge she will be in a better place, without pain - offers some relief to Dawne, and her family.

    I have such a heavy heart

    that Dawn is suffering with this stupid awful ugly disease.  She has fought such a long and brave battle.  Sending my hopes for comfort and peace to her and her loved ones.

    Thank you all so very much for your kind words. I appreciate them so much and know Dawne and her family do too. I am heartbroken by all she is going through, Dawne and I have became close friends. I can't imagine how hard it is for her family. They are a wonderful close loving family. I have grown to love them. Dawne is blessed with her family and a lot of really good friends. I am blessed to know and have her in my life. She is so strong. Thank you all again. God Bless
