Jim update and fishing news

Jim continues to lose energy and his breathing is declining as well. He now gets short of breath and wheezes, especially at night. The cold weather has kept him from fishing which depresses him. He was able to go these last two mornings so his spirits are up and he is smiling. We go to the oncologist on Tuesday afternoon. we have a list of questions, some we are dreading the answers to. Please pray for us, we still believe in the power of prayer. Thank you all in advance for them. Our wedding anniversary in March 2nd. I pray Jim is able to share this milestone (30 years) with me.

    Prayers coming your way.  Believe me I know what you are going thru.  Mine has oxygen in the house to help with his breathing but he won't use it.  He always says he is fine but after he does anything he gets out of breathe.  Can't make him.  He is depressed because he loves to be out in the yard doing something but doesn't have the energy to and of course the cold, rainy weather doesn't help.

    debbie, so glad jim got to do some fishing.  praying for you both and that you're together to celebrate 30 years!!  that's something to be proud of.  we'll all have to do a dance with you and jim on march 2 to celebrate with you.  choose a dancing song......lol

    I'm delighted he got to go out!  I know that feeling of being out there.

    30 years coming up...good lord Jenn and I have only 15 together, but she will tell you it ofte does feel like 30. :)

     

    Whispered that prayer...and so badly want to see some changes due to how you all believe in prayer ...keep it up, tell Jim we are praying.

    Hi Debbie Hope & Prayers

     Hope & Prayers for you both. I know about the cold weather, I want nothing more than to be in my shop working. But sometimes it is just too cold and I am not feeling all that good so I just stay inside and get feeling down. I hope the weather gets better soon so Jim can enjoy the things he loves to do. I am not sure if there will be any fishing in Heaven, or need for shop, guess we will just have to wait and see.

    This August will be my 40th anniversary, wow how time fly’s

    I am sending positive thoughts and prayers for both you and Jim. It is wonderful that he was able to get out and do a bit of fishing this week. It is amazing how much doing something you love helps keep a positive attitude going strong!

    Hey Debbie, I'm sorry to hear that Jim's health continues to decline, but I am  glad to hear that he was able to get out and get some fishing in; doing what you enjoy always makes you feel better.  I hope that you get some better answers to your questions than you may be expecting.  I'm sending mega hopes and prayers your way, along with positive thoughts and energy.

    Yes doug, great idea. Our first date was a fishing date. It was in January and one of the coldest days in Florida. I was catching fish so was not ready to go home when Jim was.  He said he knew then he had found his girl.
