20th anniversary today Stage 4 colon cancer.
December 20th 1993, I had a right hemicolectomy and wedge resection of a large liver tumour. During 1994 I had weekly injections of 5 flurourasol, and the dreaded levamisole for 3 days every two weeks.
Over the next 2 years I had a right partial mastectomy, and removal of a tumour and my right ovary.
I have many health problems over the years, but I am still alive, but not quite kicking.
I wish you all a very Happy Christmas and New Year. Virginia from New Yealand.

The day has finally arrived
Giant hugs mate. I know that life is not always easy and just to feel well for one day would be marvelous but to think of what you have faced and survived is beyond amazing. This place is about survival. I haven't mentioned beating cancer. You and I both know that it is more like a draw and that the opposition has got in some good hits. But you have survived and I know what you have survived, Hugs Ron.

Merry Christmas from across the ditch
Wishing you and your family a wonderful Christmas Virginia. I hope some of your health problems get sorted though based on my experience I do wonder. I start cyclosporin on jan 6th . Not looking forward to it but it is about time something worked and didn't nearly kill me. Hope your new year is a lot healthier, hugs ron.
