Breast surgeon suggested
Plastic surgery to even up my left side after two lumpectomies in 5 yrs-i am small breasted but left side way misformed-I have phonbia big time of stitches (passed out in DR office one time having stitching out of finger -post surgery and close to passes out then stitches "2" out of my leg recently. I really scared the Dr even though I warned him.
The one possible way to fix (Breast surgeon told me I have to seen plastic surgeon) would be cut from armpit area (ON scar he just made)-all the way around the nipple to reshape what I have. IT does NOT bother me enough to have surgery-I do not think i'll even make consultation appt. I have had many surgeries from face (bike accident), shoulder (car accident) breast 2 x, hystercomty due to tamoxifin, fingers for arthritus, dental implant (roller skating crash) and many more. So an elective surgery is not on the top of my list.

It's all about you!
I don't blame you one bit! Do what YOU want to do! I agree if you don't want a surgery - don't even waste your time at the consult! We have things to do, people to see, most of which does not involve going topless SO RUN TO LIFE! Laughing is betther than surgery!

My ortho Dr wrote me a note once for my Insurance -since they wouldn't pay to KNOCK ME out for dental surgery. HE wrote:
Denise has a dibliitating phobia when no annasthia (sp?) with surgery or stitches-UNTIL then I never "thought of it as a phobia" but he hit the nail on the head.

I don't know why some doctors
I don't know why some doctors and surgeons push reconstruction or plastic surgery on people. Some are pushy some aren't.
Glad to hear you are going to stick to being you!!!

The Surgeon was not REAL pushy but last office visit he suggested fat injection and I was so so...this time didnt' mention injection just actual reshaping what I have or implant.
I have had way too many surgeries in my life so I am not going to to optional. I just buy bra, bathing suits etc so you can't notice.
Thanks for replies.
