Thinking of Those in U.S. Midwest & Northeast Bracing for COLD
I hope you all are able to stay warm and dry as you brace for even more cold/snow in the next few days. It's a different story here in Northern California where we are desperate for rain and snow in the Sierra Mountains. Drought and water rationing measures appear to be on the horizon unless we get lots of rain and snow in the next two months or so.

We can export snow to California, real cheap too...
It was 0F (-18C) in Toronto this afternoon and warmed up to 16F (-9C) in the evening. More snow is coming. We got something called "ice quakes" - weather phenomenon caused by ice expanding in the ground with a loud "bang" noise.

Can we fix this weather!
Alexandra, I wish you some warmth and sun,
And Kelly for you some rain or snow.
For Alexandra no more of this snow by the ton
And Kelly some rain to make the rivers run.
Here, down below the equator
We're having heatwaves, fire and drought
It would be great to have a lady regulator
Who would sort this problem weather out!

It's cold already here in St Louis
I am used to pretty mild winters, but the forecast for monday is minus 3....in teens now. Alexandra, I cannot fathom your canadian temps. However, when it's near 100 here in the summer and very humid, I'll bet you are amused!

I can't imagine what many of you are going through with the snow and cold! Brrr! I wish we could get some (not a lot!) of your weather in our neck of the woods and perhaps Rose feels the same way!
