    I may well have the same situation...my platelets dropped to <35K and would not recover last time on Chemo.   This caused discontinuance of Chemo post liver resection February this year.   As of October have escalated with mets to lungs  and possibly other organs. New pictures this week will help tell the tale.  Onc appointment next Monday for strategic interpretation.

    We walk a fine line that is seldom bright or clearly lit.  Sounds as if you are facing some very difficult decisions.  Craig, you will make the right choice without a doubt.

    Much to say as soon as I can fix pc issues and sit down to try and post.  Sometimes you gotta be quiet for awhile so you have something good to talk about:)

    Wish we could have done it....neutrophils were really low too....so we'll add something there.

    No News Yet This Week...

    Probably no chemo this week, but expecting a blood draw and possible list of surgery tiimes to get that scheduled.,

    My heart stopped when I saw your avatar....been so long since we last spoke....but you have never left my mind. Thank you for responding.  Hope Misty is being a good girl.

    Harley just turned 4 now...we bought him a "girl" stuffed animal....and he likes girls:)  He's very protective of this stuffed toy....his first girlie:)

    I'm glad to see you after such time;  warms my heart and hope things are as well as they can be for you. 

    I'm on it:)

    In Infusion Now...

    Counts are still very low....platelets went from 59 to 67K....neutrophils were at or below 1.0.........but they decided to push through anyway....so we're doing treatment again. 

    However, I'm to meet with the liver surgeon next week to consult and more than likely schedule the spleenectomy tootie sweet......especially after they watch these numbers tank....though they did lower dosages across the board by 20%.

    I'm working on a new battle campaign starting today....will take the new avatar pic today after we wrap today.  will try and write a post to go along with it shortly.....should get you to grin....might make some of you want to "charge" over the hill:)
