Tongue Problems- tongue doesn't cooperate eating and specking

Tongue Problems

It will be 1 year since my husband was dingoes with neck and head cancer and recent PAT scan has showed more cancer so I am busy making all this appointments with university of Chicago, but mean time my husband has develop new problems in his mouth.

His right side tongue doesn't cooperate eating and specking now which bothers him lot and I don’t blame him for eating and specking.

He has neckdisccection surgery on right side of neck where he has his original radiation therapy.

I would really appreciate any suggestions.

    does his doctor know about this problem?  if not, i'd call him.  i'm sorry to hear the cancer came back and I'll be praying for your husband to come thru tx as well as can be expected.  Merry Christmas and I hope for you a Healthy New Yr.

    Sorry to hear. Where was your husband's first cancer? Where do they suspect that it has appeared again? My tongue has made several changes. It has been nearly 2 years since my journey started and I too have a recurrance. Just within the last month, my tongue seems to have flattened out some. In the past, it was never to the point of affecting my speech though. If it is concerning, I would call the doctor.
