in Ovarian Cancer #1

What is the scoop on taxotere?  I'll have my first infusion January 8.  What can I expect?

Having the port put in December 30.  Not the way I thought I'd be starting 2014 but I'll deal with it as I have the other two times, taking a cue from the courage and grace shown by you, my sisters.

    I am on this

    along with Carboplantin....you don't get the bone pain...still has some side effects..fatigue,nausea. Make sure you are moving your bowels as sometimes it may cause constipation . Hope this drug works for you and gets you to remission. My next chemo is Jan.3rd...ugh. Will be number three of six. Stay strong...Val

    I hope you have a great Christmas!

    you too are amazing...I love it that you can be positive much of the time but also admit it when times are hard. 2014 may be starting out rough for you both, but hopefully it will get better from there. You both have all my best wishes and prayers for chemo to be easy and the cancer to disappear in 2014.

    I don't have any experience with this drug but I'm hoping it kicks your cancer's butt and Val's too!  Wishing the best to you, Val, Susan and all of our other teal sisters in 2014.
