Dawne update, sorry I was so slow

Sorry I have not been better at updating lately. Dawne is fighting the fight with all she has in her. She has not had to be in the hospital again so that is a blessing. She did find out the cancer has spread to her aorta, not sure if I had posted that or not. I have been able to go see her a few times in the last few weeks. She still amazes me with her faith, attitude and strength! I am always blessed when I get to spend time with her. She is inspiring and always make you feel better when you talk with her. I love Dawne and wish you all had the chance to know her. She still thinks of you all and prays for you. Her wonderful family is right there for her all the time. She has a nurse that comes everyday and the catherter they inserted to drain fluid around heart and lungs is working much better now. This nurse that comes seems to have just the right touch to do this without hurting Dawne to much. The process really tires her though. We text some when she is up to it too. I hope to see her this next weekend. Thank you all so much for the continued prayers and support for Dawne and her family. It is a blessing to her. God Bless you all and Merry CHRISTmas!!

    I ditto what Miss Carol (camul)

    stated, we know that is hard on your dear Janice - prayers for your strength --  I will continue to pray for Dawne, and her family...  This is such a difficult situation, any way you look at it.

    Thank you Janice for the latest update on Dawne.  Glad that she has a good nurse to help drain the fluid from her lungs and heart.  That is so important.

    I shall continue to pray for Dawne and her family.

    Thank you for the update Janice!
    I am glad Dawne has so much faith and continues to fight. Prayers will continue. Please send her my love. She is one of the people I remember clearly from 2011 when I was dx and I always had affection for her.
    Wishing her better days ahead and a miracle for 2014.
