    Good News

You are all so good. I really appreciate your care and concern.  Sorry for the delay.  NO Cancer!!!  4 precancerous uterine polyps; 4 last year, too.  Plus, in August I  had 3 precancerous colon polyps.  I seem to grow polyps and not the good kind. Seems like a hysterectomy might be a good option.

I really appreciate all of your support and encouraging words. I didn't really tell many people this time around so it was extra special to have you in my corner.

I so wish everyone could get this kind of news.

    Hugs,

    CM

This is so good the hear CM ...

I can understand your concern, test time is so fraught with anxiety.  Now, go relax and enjoy the winter season.

    Peace. ~ Cynthia

    This is good news indeed.

Let us know what you decide about the hysterectomy. If its going to cut down on these pre-cancerous polyps, might be worth going through the surgery

    Dear Cathleen Mary

I am so glad to hear that there was no cancer found in the polyps.

Being aware that your body grows polyps is good as long as you and the doc keep on checking to make sure to get them before they develop into something nasty.

    Hugs to you,

    Marie who loves kitties

    Just saw this...

YAY!  Such good news!  If you decide to get a hysterectomy, I would say it's not too big of a deal.  Had one myself during my last surgery.  If you do have it, you should talk to your doc about HRT afterwards.  There's a lot of new research about that treatment that indicates it is in many cases safe to take, esp post-hysterectomy.  It really alleviates the side effects (and some studies suggests that it protects against crc too).

    Big hugs~AA

    Woohooooo!!

I am so happy for you! I hope you stay cancer free!!! Maybe the hysterectomy is a good idea? Let us know what you decide, but either way, I'm glad you're on top of this. :)

    Thank you one and all!

Thank you one and all!   Since I have had several partial bowel obstructions this year, my PCP is talking about an abdominal hysterectomy so adhesions can be taken care at the same time.  We'll talk about this in January and I will bring your good advice with me. I have autoimmune hepatitis that can complicate things.  This all seems so small compared to what most here are dealing with every day.

    Hugs and gratitude,

    CM
