After six weeks of intense chemo, it looks like this is not testicular cancer. It didn't work. Mayo finally came back with their pathology review last week and say they think its rcc but can't classify further. We are feeling defeated. No one seems to have a clue. So I don't know if they will treat this as collecting duct and start chemo for that or if they will try another oral med as votrient didn't work. Just to throw another complication onto the mix, blkjak's oncologist retired so we are starting over with a new one. He will meet with him on Monday for a new plan after reviewing his file.
