Heading into a year NED
I am not going to post a feel good post because every time I do I get hit with a hammer over the head right after I post it. 12/10 will be a year for me. Quick story- small world- someone I work with is 8 weeks post treatment for tonsil cancer 28 lymph nodes removed" I ask him" how do you feel" he say " great" no side effects at all. Has all his taste, no swallowing issues. At first I didn't know his primary site was his tonsils. My primary was and remains unknown. I tell this guy it's almost a year and I am still battling side effects - sweets taste salty, tongue is stuck to my roof of mouth every morning - but basically just starting to feel like my old self. I was very confused why this guy was in so much better shape ( post treatment wise) then myself. It turns out he didn't have chemo and I guess he was not exposed to as much radiation as I was being they could target just one area instead of the whole neck and head. So anyway I have to say I a glad he is having such a good recovery but I AM a little jealous. But I am great flu as he'll that today I am having turkey day at my house with all my familly and friends and will be able to eat- maybe not taste everything but I will be able to eat. Last year sucked. Going on vacation saturday and plan on drinking and sitting in The sun no matter what the doctor says- happy thankgiving all

we are better!
Roar,
Glad to hear Roar is celebrating his first year!
You know, I drive a 2012 H&N and you drive a 2013 H&N, they are both fully optioned, but something is missing. Oh well, at least they start and are much better than the defective old one.
Save a lounger and a place in the sun for me (it is cold here).
Matt

Gobble gobble
Hey Roar,
Today is uniquely special to those of us with chronic health issues. We have much to be thankful today and everyday and also have much to reflect and ponder about those whose past year has not been so fortunate. It is easy to glance aside, seeing others in the pack in the race called life. Once in awhile look over your shoulder to remind yourself of all we have to be thankful for each day. Gobble - gobble, Don
