I am so sorry for your loss, Marie.

Prayers going out to you and your family.

    Buzz and Mom

To me the most important people, one is  Buzzard (Clift) who was always there to help me with my struggles. I had ton of messages back and forth with him, he was like a real dad to me. And my Mom July 22, 2009. I also remember one lady in particular, but cannot recall her username anymore, she was the first one to leave me a note back in April 2009 when I joined this site. I don't remember her username but I do remember that she used to mistype the word "cancer" all the time and she would spell it as "canzer"....but she was the very first one who replied to me and tried helping me when I was asking what I should give to my Mom. And she followed up through my craziness....

    My Mom

It has been a very long time since I have posted here, but when I saw this thread I thought I would honor my mom.  She was a six time cancer survivor - six primary cancers - Colon 3x, Lung, Mediastinum and the last, Glioblastoma Multiforme brain cancer (a truly ugly cancer - it robs a person of who they are).  Mom was the most beautiful person I've ever met and I miss her everyday,  She died on May 4, 2013.

    I love you, Mom.

Thank you, lp 1964, for starting this thread.

    A fighter

Your mother must have been a true fighter. God bless her, and bless you as you live on with happy memories of a beautiful woman and mother.

    Hi,

Yes, I remember her, a very kind lady.  And you're correct, it has not gotten easier for me either , but I just keep trudging forward each day through sadness.  I am so very sorry that you lost your dear sister at such a young age.  It is truly heartbreaking for you, I know.

Take care of yourself, and always remember the fun and happy times that you both shared.

    Hi Sophie, Yes, I got

    :)

Hi Sophie, Yes, I got her in early September when she was just four months old.  Her name is actually - Sophie.  ;D  She a sweety, and a wonderful companion.  The house is just so empty and lifeless without my Rick being here, so she has certainly brought life back into it.  I can't help but to smile at her playful antics, so I have to say that I've been feeling so much less depressed since I've become a new pet parent.  ;)

I hope that you have a nice Thanksgiving with your family this year.

    Take care,

    Cyn

It's been more than four years since my diagnosis.  I was 38 with 1 year old daughter.  I found the site that first night, and asked for help on the journey that was a head.  Donna was the first to reply.  I can't begin to tell you what her posts meant to me.

    now I remember...

    Hey Cynthia:

Yes, her name was Kimby...now I do remember. Thank you for retrieving my memory on this. I feel bad for not remembering but I was so new at the time and she disappeared too quickly. :( In terms of your cat I love it. It looks sooooooooooooooooooooooooo soft. Although, you have a bad taste for naming anything alive as Sophie. :) But hey, I definitely will have a hard time forgetting you cat's name in the future. :) Give her a big pet in the head for me, please. :)

    Please take care!
