G'day mags and Virginnia
Went to the cardiac clinic yesterday. Got into trouble by walking a couple of kilometres up hill to get there. I was told firmly 'we don't allow heart attacks here'. They are still playing ducks and drakes with me . He believes the troponin leak was caused by the parainfluenza virus. He was not happy with my ECG . He was measuring some of the waves and shaking his head. I am being scheduled for a stress echo cardiograph and another ecg in a week or so. I start my prep tomorrow and go into hospital for the nasty part of the scope prep on Tuesday , have the scope on wed and stay in for observation wed night and get out Thursday. ( I hope) I am a bit concerned about this one as it has been three years. I have had around thirteen in the past 15 years and have had around 9 polyps removed in that time. Two had pre-cancerous changes. I am scheduled to drink 7-8 liters of prep. Not happy. Hugs to you ,hope you are both keeping well. Ron.0 -

Ron.I hope that you have done well with the scope process and all is well on the results.
You are a man who has always presented to me as someone who does what needs to be done...even walking so far to make an appointment.
However, you need to take care...as none of us can be there to scold you or try to make things a bit easier!
You are never far from our thoughts regardless of the many miles between us.
Hugs,

Unfortunately sometimes it takes a lot of maintainance to hang on to health or life. It is what it is. We are fortunate that medicine still gives us many options.
Good luck and wish you the best outcome

Tests
Always thinking about you and wishing you the best for all your future tests. You must take some really nasty stuff if you have to go into the hospital to take it. Best of luck to you.

Now I only get scoped every 5 years.
Twenty years coming up on December 20th, not bad for stage 4. Good luck with your other problems Ron.

Twenty years of survival "Not bad for a stage fourer" It is fantastic for any stage Virginia but so much more so with mets to the liver. You will always be my hero. They breed them tough in NZ . Hugs Ron.0 -

State Disability is 80% in California and not taxable. Pays for a year.
SS is not as High, under 2,000 month for 60.000 income (of ourse depends on work history and earning). SS Kicks in after sTate plans, or the offset esch other.
long term employer plans Ok, if you go out and then heal. But heaven forbid that they lay you off because one you have a pre x with your new employer. I did my colon sugey, then back to work, I had my liver reception then back to work. All while doing chemo and chemo breaks. Got back to work. Fired. This HR TEAM was incompetent and me being a knowledgable HR manager I took them to the cleaners. I won. They were the worst HR TEAM I ever worked with. I've worked for many 500 fortune companies And these girls were out of control.
Have STD. I would not go back to work if you have stage 4 cancer. Rest. You are protected. You may also have waiver of premium for you life insurance, if you gave LTD, PREMIUMS ARE WAIVED
I did elected LTD with my new job but because I was seeing a doctor for labs it's still preExisting. I paid a lot of money into to these plans. They aren't cheap. I paid $7o a month and did this 3 years. No pay. My old boss at diagnosis said no Ltd BE BENEFIT you were released to go back to work. They let me go from recovery for second hernia. MY ONC STATED THE STAGE 4 is not EVER cured I could fight the decision. I'll think about that another day. Hope thismakes sense. Took sleeping pill but still awake. I can hear the roosters.
