Update on Jeff - he fought until his last breath
Good evening,
My dad, Jeff, battled colorectal cancer for over 4 1/2 years and gave it all he got. Unfortunately, science ran out of treatment options and he passed away on Wednesday afternoon. I've never been on CSN before but I know my dad found great comfort in chatting with others who were going through the same thing as him. Colorectal cancer is a terrible disease but for those who corresponded with Jeff, I hope you could sense his positive attitude and stregth. God bless you all.

First I had to spend a few minutes trying to wipe the tears from my eyes when I saw this posted.
Your father was a good member of this board who saw many positive things, and continued to encourage us all to continue our fight to survive this colon cancer. You would have been proud of the encouragement he sent to us and the bravery in which he stoically fought this cancer, he was a center of strength.
I just want to thank you so much for letting us know of his passing, he was a good man to us and he shall truly be missed.
My sincerest of condolences to you and your family, thank you for sharing him with us.

Dear Natalie
I am so very sad to read of Jeff's passing.
There is no doubt that he gave every effort to the fight against this terrible disease.
Even on his worst days, when he posted an update about himself, you could find him posting encouragement and help on other posts.
He will be missed but not forgotten.
May you, the rest of the family and all who loved him find comfort in remembering the good times with him. His greatest joy was visiting with his family.

Natalie, I'm so sorry to read this. When I saw your dads User name I was hoping for some good news. His strength, attitude and love for his family definitely came through in his posts. I don't remember ever seeing a post from him that was ever anything but positive. He seemed like a really good guy that got the short end of the stick with this damn disease.
Hugs and prayers for strength and peace for you and your family.0 -

I am so, so sorry.
Your dad was such a bright light here on the forum. He was always positive, despite the many challenges he faced. And it was clear to all of us that he got his strength from all of you, his family. He mentioned his family in many of his posts, and his love for you always shone clear.
He will be sorely missed.
