Disney World!
I don't know how much I can do, but we are taking Katherine, Aaron and little Bella (Aaron's daughter and now our new granddaughter, age 5) to Disney World. :-) I am planning frequent rests and will take it easy, but really want to see Bella enjoy her first visit.

I was at Disney World the day
I was at Disney World the day it opened. Last time there was 1991. Went there for Honeymoon in '75. (Lived in SW FL) So many other times there but not sure if I'd want to go back - too much stuff! Think I'd rather keep my memories.

Excitement Ahead
It's going to be fun to see Bella discover Disney World. I'm sure you'll run out of energy long before she will. Fortunately there are lots of places to sit and rest and I know you'll take advantage of them. This is supposed to be the best time to visit. The weather is good, not too hot, and the crowds are down. So have fun!

Sounds like so much Fun, CCrutzetta said:Enjoy
I hope you and your family enjoy this blessed trip and time together.

Do enjoy, and savor each moment.. rest, when possible = and post photo's when possible. Try and not to spoil Bella, too much. I know, it will be hard - so GO ahead and spoil away -- Sleeping Beauty kids high heels, or pink blinged ballet slippers -- ahhh, so much fun just thinking about all the fun things to do with Katherine and her new family.

Boy you caught my attention
Boy you caught my attention with DISNEY World..
You can get GSC (guest assistant card) they recently changed the name but it helps people with medical & misc issues-check into it prior to going? Also you can rent wheelchairs or from outside source electric scooter.
We always take a mid day break (about 2-3 hrs) at our resort-hang by the pool or just rest in our room.
Have a wonderful trip. I am not going back until July -

have fun!!
I am so glad that you are taking them to WDW....we live in Florida, so I have frequently heard, "Have a magical day!" One of my best friends works for the company. You may already know this, but the pink fire truck stops there periodically. My friend signed my name, and it travels on.
But, if you don't mind me suggesting... ..they might have a "go to the front of the line pass" for guests who might need to rest, and kind of take it easy.
It might be worth checking on. ???
One time, shortly after my mastectomy, I actually let my family rent a wheelchair about 6pm....I just
couldn't go on any further. Had I planned that better, I would have reserved a motorized one.
You will have a great time and make lots of family memories!!!
Hugs,
Carol

Hi Eileen - I'm smiling as I read this, remembering meeting up with you two years ago at Epcot! I hope you have a wonderful time with little Bella, but take care of yourself and don't try to do too much all at once. Hugs, Linda
Linda, that was the highlight of my trip! Hugs to you too!
