Anyone hear from Ren?
His news about the ALPPS surgery not going forward was distressing to say the least. I've been checking his blog and nothing new. Has anyone heard from him? I do hope he's doing okay. Traci

You may have seen it already, but there is now an update by his brother on Ren's blog. He says the doctors think Ren has "hours/days/weeks" left. He also says, "Beating his little mutants is what he is still fully determined to do." He is trying a new treatment to try to beat them.

Thanks for letting us know about the update on Ren's blog.
I am so glad that his brother was able to go to him and hope that there is time for the new alt treatment to have some good effect.
Ren has always been doing everything he can and graciously sharing his journey with us...sucesses and failures.
I wish him peace and free of pain and all the time possible on this earth.

I always looked to your posts for encouragement. You were a brilliant man. Everyone on here will miss you. I'm new to the site, but I enjoyed reading your blog to see what new treatments were out there. R.I.P

What a waste. This makes me
What a waste. This makes me sick to my stomach. Such a bright individual who fought so hard. He certainly did his part to try and cure this insidious disease and help others in the process. He seemed like a really interesting guy. What a shame.
