looking for any info about vin 3
so... yesterday i was diagnosed with vin 3. originally my obgyn thought that it was warts because in june i was diagnosed with hpv but i wasnt responding to the acid treatments and the itching didnt match with warts so i got a biopsy and well... now at least i know what it is. apparently its very rare, especially since i just turned 23. thats pretty much all i know. i'm working on getting an appointment with a gynecological oncologist, but in the meantime i'm trying to figure out what this all means. any information would be greatly appreciated. idk if this is cancer or what, but google brought me here so i was hoping for some help if possible. please?

take a breath
Vin3greattt, I cannot offer you any information on this topic but I do hope one of the wonderful women out here can help. You certainly are in my prayers. Take a deep breath, find a gyn onc you TRUST, and take it one step at a time. It is overwhelming for sure. Take lots of notes, or better yet, have a friend go with you who will write down everything so you can focus on the doctor.

Boy, those are the WORST thing about cancer. Wait for results, hurry up and wait at the doctor's office, the unknown of what is going to happen, the unknown of how is it going to make me feel, I could go on and on and on...
Take notes, ask lots of questions, you will find the nurses are spectacular. Let us know.

Just diagnoised with VIN III and have no clue what to expect
Hi ladies, I have just been told I have VIN III, the doctors feels sure it isn't cancerous but will know for sure once the surgery has been completed. I am very nervous on what to expcet, the doctor is like, let me handle it, doen't you worry at all about it. He stated there is one area that needs attention, but it is the size of a quarter. Almost 20 years ago I had to have a hysterectomy, most likely due to HPV, I am sure it most likely has returned to cause this. The weird thing is I have had little if any symptons. I am a extremly private person, so this is not a subject I can discuss with my friends. If anyone has any suggestion to help me prepare for the surgery and recovery I would be extremly grateful! Thank you,
