I lost my mom today

in Breast Cancer #1

Her brain bleeding was too severe and we had to say goodby to her today.

    Carmen,  I know how much hurt you are feeling right now.  I lost my dad 4 years ago November 23... Loosing a parent is like loosing a part of you.... Hold on to the happy memories right now and one day you will wake up and you will find that the memories have some how lessoned the pain... Big Hugs.... God Bless!  Kathy

    So sorry for your loss

    Even when we know it's coming, it's impossible to prepare yourself for losing a parent. I'm so sorry for your pain.

    I lost my Mother one year ago on Oct 24th, and the anniversary has been difficult.  I truly know your pain and will pray for you and your family. Linda

    Carmen.Very sorry for your loss.It came at a time when you were needing to get on with some medical needs too.BUT your mom needed you. This has to be the hardest to deal with now.I'm sure they prepared you but you still had hope for a better outcome.

    As soon as things settle you can get on with the treatment you need.You're probably wore down and need to get some rest.I know the hospital vists are tiring and hard.After a little rest get started on your health needs. Your mom will be with your in spirit.I remember my dad and his short visit down the hall.2 days later my husband was working after being laid off for a few months.

    Thinking of you and your family at this time.

    Carmen, I am so sorry for you and the loss of your Mom.  It is one of the hardest things to go through -- loosing a parent.  Our parents are the only ones who have been there from the very beginning of our existence and somehow when they leave us it leaves us with feelings of loss, loneliness that have to be worked through.  Sending you and your family prayers and condolences durng this time.

    The funeral was yesterday, I am emotionally and physical exhausted, now it's time to rest and to hold to all good memories of her.

    So sorry about your Mom

    My Dad passed away this past August - and it's been so very hard.  Keep all the happy memories and know she's at peace and 'home' - no longer suffering.

    Sorry about your Loss

    I am sorry to hear about your mother. I know how you feel, I lost my mom to lung cancer and cancer of the brain in 1978. I was only 15 at the time.
