Flu Shot Reminder

Just wanted to remind that the flu season is on it's way in the Northern Hemisphere so it's time to think about get the shot.  I get mine a week from tomorrow.

    Thanks for the reminder Susan.  And remember to encourage your loved ones to get the flu shot too.  It can mean life or death for those of us that are so immunocompromised.

    I had mine a couple of weeks ago and my husband and daughter have had theirs.  Now I have to get Katherine's fiance in to get his. :-)

    Hubby gets his a week from

    Hubby gets his a week from tomorrow also.  Son and DIL have theirs scheduled for next week also - don't remember the day, they're in another state.

    my daughter and hubby got

    my daughter and hubby got theirs...I should-many drug store have walk in clinic-should check into this weekend.

    They used to do them at my job-so very convinent.

    It upsets me

    It upsets me because I'm allergic to the flu shot.My husband got his at work. All I can say is we fear germs.  We go the other way when people cough.We have our Hand sanitizer in the car and ready to use it.He pumps gas and uses it.Goes grocery shopping then gets the sanitizer.Last year I had bronchitis for months got low on vitamins so I sometimes let him do the shopping while I wait in the car. Wish I could be vaccinated but have to be cautious.

    Last year I never heard so much coughing and those people I felt really needed to stay home. Worst coughing I'd heard. Def was a bad flu season.Deaths in our area too.

    My doctor said the flu is predicted to be milder this year.
