Just got home and got the mail, and there was a big envelope with a strangely familiar lion head on the address return label.

So excited to see your work!  It's a great article and signed too...by the author himself.

You should be really proud that you pulled this off.  I'm sure there are tons of people sending their writing into Coping, and to be one of the few selected is a big deal.  I'm glad I got the personalized copy too...my kids and husband enjoyed seeing it.

    They had a whole stack of

    They had a whole stack of them in the family room at the hospital tonight....I opened a bunch to your article and left them out on different tables for people to read :)

    Copies got around the country pretty quick...

    I'm so glad that you got to see some of my work in real print before something happened to me.  You've been a tremendous supporter and a very good friend to me.   It was Marie's idea to do the lion head....it got me to chuckling, because I could see the thought behind her to do that...it was very clever and a nice touch.

    They really liked the articles I sent and am glad they worked so hard to get the BB story into print....I'm sure that does not happen for everyone....of course, most come in under 700, LOL!  And I can't even sign my name in that short of space, LOL again!

    I may never ever get to a real library bookshelf....but at least, I got on the bookshelf inside your heart....and that's pretty good:)

    plus you're making me cry so stop it!  You've got time to make it on that library shelf (esp if you think in virtual terms...Amazon has a place for you!).  I still think there's a book luring in that lion's heart...just gotta make it happen once you get through this little bump in the road. Laughing
