OT: Welcome, fall -- Pumpkin Swirl Brownies are back!

Those of you who've been here on the board for awhile will remember that Trader Joe's recipe for Pumpkin Swirl Brownies has been quite the fall hit the past couple of years, and lots of you have made and loved them.

So...all you Trader Joe's fans...it's time to stockpile TJ's Pumpkin Bread Mix, because it's back in stores for the season!

To recap for everyone: You buy Trader Joe's's Truffle Brownie Mix and Pumpkin Bread Mix, mix them up in separate bowls, then swirl them together in a 9x13 pan and bake them.  Seriously...chocolate-pumpkin HEAVEN!

If you don't have a Trader Joe's nearby, several here have tried the same concept with other brands of brownie mix and pumpkin bread mix (even gingerbread mix), and had great results. 

I stockpile TJ's Pumpkin Bread Mix for this recipe every fall the way a chipmunk stores nuts for the winter!

    Our monthly (yea!) appointment with the heart team is Tuesday.  I always bake something....

    Finally got out to TJ's a couple weeks ago - it's a 2 hour trip - and the pumpkin bread mix was not yet available. Ugh! I have tried this. With the usual brand names and, while ok, I really want to with with TJ'S mixes.

    Nice to see you post. I don't get here much, try to keep up, but there just isn't enough time or energy.

    Was just thinking about them the other day!

    The problem here is my husband doesn't like them.  Guess who eats them all?  Maybe I could make some and freeze them!

    Last year when you posted this, we didnt have a trader Joe's. We finally got one! Although there is no wine section. But I love that I can make this this year!!! I lve Trader Joe's.

    Well, first of all, Suzanne...

    ...you need to divorce your husband.  Because there's clearly something seriously wrong with him! Surprised

    Second of all...let me know when you bake them again, and I'll be right over!  I'll even bring some Pumpkin Spice tea from Republic of Tea that we love to have with them!
