I took 2 Ativans (lorazepams) this morning

I would've taken more, but I had to drive back. Didn't do **** anything for me. It's coffee's fault.

I need both knee replacements. Since car accident in 1998 I can't kneel. Puts a cramp on blow- my love life. Embarassed

I'm pi$$ very drunk and probably should stay away from the board to maintain my unspoiled lady-like image.

    WOW

After all you went through the guy with the boob-box looks like a much better deal!  Sooo sorry for you!  If you have MY kind of luck the results on Oct 1 will say"undetermined and needs to be repeated!  Next time[? ] take the Baileys BEFORE you go...that's why GOD invented Cabs!

    OMG Susan!

I had a few surgeries in my lifetime (appendectomy, hysterectomy, abdominoplasty, IP port insertion w/out sedation), 2 car accidents (broken arm, broken knees, broken ribs, crack in the forehead), several Law & Order SVU-type encounters in my youth, 24 hr+ dry labor with episiotomy w/out epidural, chemo without a port and yet the biopsy today takes the cake. If I never see the motherloving MRI machine again, I want a mastectomy.

What procedures were worse? I need to know to stay away from them.

Drinking Baileys Irish Cream makes everything better... Oh yeh!

    sorry

    Alex,

Sorry you have had to endure so much.  Makes you a true survivor. Take care of you.  Hope Oct 1 brings a negative result!

    Hi Ron!

And thanks for the information.  As Alexandra said, you are welcome here anytime with the ladies.  Unfortunately, we are all members of the same big "club".  Wishing you and your extended family the best.

Our dear Alexandra you've been through enough

I'd just like to say you're pretty damn tough!

We know what it's like to be prodded and squeezed

Because we all share this nasty disease.

So please when you finally receive that report

Remember we're here with affectionate support.

Just to let you ladies know. Alex visits and supports us on other boards too. We all wish her the best. Sometimes it is the closest we get to someone talking dirty to us. Sort of like 1-900- love 'em hanging. Good luck Alexandra! We love you!

    I love you guys!

Many thanks to Connie, Debra, Julie, Rosamond the poet. Oh my dear cyber-boyfriend Foxy, I really need to clean up my language and sexual innuendo before your BP goes up. Embarassed

Yesterday I found out that my CA125 jumped from 6 to 60 in one month, and we all here know what that means. I'm looking at 4 to 6 rounds of Carboplatin before I could get into the 50 PARP / 50 placebo trial, if they are still recruiting. Avastin has not been approved in Canada yet and is out of reach.

If breast biopsy comes back positive, I will be disqualified from any clinical trials. I am not a happy camper, actually right now I'm a very angry and frustrated camper.

But all the kindness and support here on CSN makes me feel so much better.

    grrrrrrrr....

I hate to hear that...no wonder you feel angry.  I feel angry that you have to go through this. We can all relate.

When I was diagnosed with breast cancer after ovarian, I was angry too. After a while, it dissipated but at the beginning I felt marked, like this was a direct hit against me. Now I realize that it was just BRCA doing its thing. Hopefully, you won't have to deal with the breast cancer twist at all. The ovarian recurrence is scary enough, but you will come out if it as strong as ever. I hope that you will feel free to share your pain as well as your good humor. We all have dark days and all are scared at some points on this journey...please let us be there for you. You have made us laugh a lot and I'm grateful for that. Let us give back to you!!

    Sending positive, healing thoughts,

    Susan

I'm so frustrated for you, I can hardly speak{write}!  You will be fine....you have attitude!  Debra

Yes - you're comfortable in this milieu aren't you Ron!

Not so me -- far too shy.  However, I enjoy the strength and humour displayed here where Alex's attitude is so contagious.  There does seem to be a bond between our respective forums and perhaps that's mediated by Alex as much as by anything else!

Sorry for your latest loss Ron and I join you and the splendid ladies over here in hoping for the very best news possible from Alex - she's well overdue the breaks that this unrelenting malady is so reluctant to allow us! Be well folks, everywhere.

    Dear Trevor (TW) - thanks!

I am so glad to see you here. You, Ron, Fox and anyone else from RCC board are very welcome. No need to be shy, we gyno gals only have pyjama parties and tickle fight every so often. In the words of good old Karl Marx: Survivors of the World, Unite!

    This disease sure

likes to test our strength doesn't it?   I am so sorry you have to face it again amidst the other health issues.  I agree that once we have fought off the beast we should be granted immunity from it for life.  You are in my thoughts and prayers as you and my other dear sisters on this board always are.  Keep strong Alexandra and keep your sense of humor as I know you will.

    Don't be shy, TW

I've been keeping my eye on you too.  Come visit on the uterine board.  That's where I belong but I follow the ovarian gals because my type of uterine cancer acts like ovarian.

Its a beautiful day for golf here in upstate NY.
