Any way to get rid of the hematoma after biopsy?
I had bilateral MRI-guided biopsy on Monday.
2 days later right breast feels and looks fine. Left breast is one large colorful painful bruise. I kept an ice pack on it for hours and a tight bra; it is not helping much.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Have you talked to your
Have you talked to your doctor about it. Ice on and off every 20 minutes and Tylenol should take care of it. If it's worse than that the doctor should be checking on it. You may have something else going on.
Let us know how you are doing.
Hugs,
Sandy

Did they take more samples on
Did they take more samples on the breast that is so sore? Were they far apart? I would sure call my doctor. This should not be causing you so much anxiety.

Thank you very much Sandy and Sandra!
Honestly I don't know how many samples they took or where from; I was pinned face down on the MRI machine and it felt like about a dozen samples on each side. If it doesn't get better, I'll call the nurse tomorrow. Thank you for your input.
