That link leads to a commercial insurance site and is not Obamacare exchanges. Each state has their won exchange and their own site. Thanks, though.

Texas is one of the states that refused to set up their own exchange or to expand medicaid. The exchange was set up by the federal government. Your costs may be cheaper, but you better read that fine print. You are not going to get the same coverage and your choices in doctors and hospitals will be more limited. The plan may have the same name, but not the same coverage!

Also, Texas is a big state and because they are not expanding medicaid, there will be far less people to subsidize! Here in New England, the states have expanded the Medicaid coverage, so those who earn above the poverty level, pay for those below e poverty level.
